The South Carolina Tennis Foundation proudly announces Jean Evans and Shelby Rogers will join the South Carolina Tennis Hall of Fame, Class of 2024.
Jean Evans, a Belton native, is celebrated for her stellar high school and collegiate career, including 12 Palmetto Championships titles and a National Jaycee singles victory. Though now based in Cambridge, MA, her legacy endures through the Malloy Evans Memorial Sportsmanship Award.
Shelby Rogers, from Mt. Pleasant, achieved remarkable success early on, including five Palmetto Championships and a USTA Girls’ National title. Now a top WTA player with notable victories and a Fed Cup representation, her impact on South Carolina tennis is profound.
Join us in honoring these tennis legends at the induction ceremony on November 23rd at Sonesta Resort, Hilton Head Island.
